Presenting an opportunity to purchase artwork by SARA while supporting the Holter Museum of Art. The Holter has been a big supporter of SARA’s and was one of the exhibition stops in 2016 during Sara Joyce: Myth, Dream and Dramatic Episodes.
Due to COVID-19, the Holter has had to get creative, like all arts organizations. They are taking their 2020 Annual Gala & Art Auction Virtual! The HOLTER NO SHOW GALA & AUCTION will be held June 11-13.

SARA created dream-like images using basic human and animal figures, elements of landscape and the natural world, and fundamental architectural structures. Her works are both instantly recognizable and uniquely the product of her subconscious imagination. Untitled (Yellow Silver Stupa Forms) is among SARA’s most abstract; it illustrates her interest in using color to build simple compositions using essential forms drawn from a universal symbolic language. It was recently on exhibit at Sun Valley Museum of Art in a show titled Behind the Sagebrush Curtain. Read more about SARA and this auction piece here.
